Well it's not a bug per se, it's actually simply the result of some lax collision detection. But yeah, I'll definitely fix it.

As for the clouds, yeah, they sometimes get "corrupt" right now because of invalid texture coordinates, it'll be fixed. (but maybe that wasn't your bug ?)

But yeah, the screenshot thing is a nice touch, even though it wasn't originally meant to be a feature (I just took the code from a libnds example because I needed screenshots of stuff that wasn't compatible with no$gba at the time).

But it bugs sometimes, so take 3 screenshots of 1 thing for safety. PLUS it names like 0001, BUT it restarts every time you start the game, meaning overwriting screenshots. Be carful, I wasnt.

Yeah, that's because the implementation of screenshots isn't exactly complete yet. I'll probably make it better soon enough, maybe even add support for png output or at least make it generate only 1 file except of 2.

About the torches, it's a lighting bug, i guess. What happens is that, i tried to put two torches inside a box and closed the box, but the light is still visible from the outside...

And there's more, there were one time that i've put a torch and then remove it, but the light was still there...

And when removing blocks, the shadow of those blocks stays in the place...

I've got some screenshots about all of that...
 
ok! I've been moving/playing around a lot now. On my R4 original and DS lite, map streaming is fine even in noclip

But there are 3 other small bugs I noticed:
1. If you place a torch, and build a wall, say in a tunnel, the light will show through the wall. It is ok if you remove and add the torch after building though.
2. Standby->play for while->standby->crash. It happened me there now

I had been playing for a while, just about to hit start too

3. In inventory, if you place the torch in it, you can place another block over it.

They are just small things, but that is all I have found in the last half hour. Infact, those and the clouds are all that I have seen. Other than that, this is fun! I like the caves...so dark...so cold(how do i know that

I can confirm this too. Placing torch then bricks = light transparent bricks?

Also, If you trap yourself in a box, during day time, some walls are different brightnesses due to sun. They should all be dark, shouldnt they?

But other than these lighting problems, the game is very stable and fun

How did you turn the debugger off for these?
 
I wanted to test the "DEMO" but there are already 2 people with Acekard 2i with Akaio 1.8.7, so now i have to wait for the game to come public.
 
The game wont work for me, i put it on my m3 simply in a folder called minecraftds and it loads as the top screen white and the bottom one black, not sure what to do about it.

Well, that probably means that the game didn't load correctly.

It is probably either the file system or the card itself.

Your card does not support argv and so the NitroFS used in-game. You must use HBMenu 0.2.0 (download is in filetrip) to launch the game.
Plus, the testmap.map must go in the root of your flashcart, otherwise you will have more problems.

Please don't flame aswell. It was an obvious reply, but it didn't deserve that.

PS: I know this is the fix, I had the problem too

Well, I'm gonna build some cool shit in the coming day or so. For now, it is late. I'll play some before I go to sleep though, and I'll play more tomorrow.
The cave system soo big I thought it was worth posting on the forum. It stretches almost throughout the whole map! I have started to mark my path to find my 2 (only, atm) ways to the surface.
I am also building 2 castles (they are rubbish though) over the entrances to the caves. They cover 2 separate systems, so I am going to try and link them after I finish typing this.
I'll post some cursor1 co-ordinates for other testers after

I really want to play this game. Can't you at least give a demo of the game?

EDIT: So, a question about emulating the game.

Is the game able to emulate well without bugs, or is it going to have to be on a flash cart?
