Just a little info for you : since the above i don´t have any issue at all with that game (tried it many times now to reproduce the dump, but i can´t, i have moved around the channels and edit settings and etc, but no matter what i do i can´t reproduce the dump) so weird yes it is..

and i don´t think that you should be worried about it (maybe i overlooked something, but i don´t know) .. and Thanks again for this great app

BTW i read that people has troubles with there cannels disappear in beta 5 and i also had this in beta 5, but not now after all this beta testing, its gone

Are you talking about sorting by system with button 2 or just custom sorting with button B?
Maybe I forgot to recompile, I had a commented line that forced to save changes after sorting by system (now it's uncommented but I don't remember if I compiled it).

I would like to tell again my problems:

some games are absent at loading (randomly) and sort by user changes sometimes (one channel moves).

I would like to know if it is my NAND USB backup (old from the firsts beta of Triiforce) or someting else.

Other thing: i read in a forum that all others stuff on virtual NAND are not required (IOS, cIOS, sytem menu, all system channels, Bc, etc .... and just keep VC and Wiiware), but in the Wiki compatibility list, it is said that Space Invaders works "with IOS 37 v3869 installed on virtual NAND".

A lot of Wiiware doesn't work unlike said in the compatibility list.

I use cIOS17.

Then it should be fixed. But I'm not sure, we will see it on the next version, hehe!
You can always save the changes, just press 1 to configure any game and check the Save changes to SD/USB.

Some games disappear randomly in cIOS rev17, this is a known bug (the one that broke NAND emu on rev18/19/20, this cache bug has been since the first versions of Waninkoko's NAND emu, fortunately rev17 is the most stable even if the bug is still there).

Sort by user should not change, that's weird. Mighty Channels places the new channels in the first empty spot it finds. In other words, if the channel is not on MC config file, then it will appear in the first empty spot (and if a game disappeared thanks to rev17 bug, then that game will be there for sure). Maybe you installed games after creating the config file. Just save changes again and see what happens.

Well... Theorically, if you are going to use just Triiforce/MC then you should be able to remove IOS because all games under Triiforce/MC run over the cIOS, it never does an IOS reload. But this doesn't have to be necessarily true, because some games like the Art Style games need a System Menu installed in virtual NAND in order to work. Then there can be games that also check if an IOS exists, but personally I haven't found any.
Why don't you try these games that the compatibility list says and tell us if they are right?

Also, remember that if you are going to use Sneek with the same NAND dump then you cannot remove IOS or System Menu.

Never mind, I figured it out. I installed cios 250v21[57] beta fix and it's working. Makes me wonder what was wrong with my old cios 250v21[57]. Oh well...carry on

I was asking because Space Invaders does not work, i tried the method in the compatibility list and fail.

My next step is download or make a new NAND backup and i will tell you if it's the same or not.


Other hangs: use of the motion plus (like i said), plug of the Classic Pad or the Nunchuk too late (freezing when asking).

..... but: a very good job done !!

Request: The sort function could be better with options like: alphabetic order by title, alphabetic order by ID, sort by favourites.

Marc, I have a question regarding your upcoming Mighty Loader. Does it still need cIOS to launch games or does it use a emulated NAND like Mighty Channels and uses original IOS to launch games in wbfs format like Uniiloader and UNEEK DI do?
 
Hi, im getting "error: i can't get title list ret=-1" when loading MC from HBC (from both usb, sd), but it start fine if i load it from its forwarder ...

This is very frustating since it worked before, i tryed to re roll back to beta 4.. no luck.. maybe i change something in my system, dunno. but im sure that the only things i did was some test on wiiflow & its forwarder.

Cios rev 21 isn't working anymore. I tried base 37,38,57,58.
On the one hand a code dump appears on the other hand ret=-101 appears.

Just another question.
Didn't Rev21 fixed some nand emulating issues (like disappering titles and dlc content)? Maybe it's better to focus on that. Correct me if I am wrong.

I have it running from USB using Rev 17. There are 2 things I am having problems with...

1) I tried both forwarders from page 1 and get a blackscreen/freeze. Mighty Channels is located on my USB along with my nand files. I also tried adding it to the SD but same results. Would love to use the forwarder.

2) Having trouble getting VC to run. Ex: Sonic 1-2-3 all start to load then blackscreen. It does not freeze. If I hit the home button, I can see the game screen.

Any ideas?

I'm not the cIOS developer, so I can't fix these bugs.

Did you try with Triiforce/mrc and checked if it works there?


What do you mean by 'isn't working anymore'? Do you mean that it worked once and now it doesn't work anymore? Some users also suffer this problem and I don't know what can be the cause.

Did you try another USB or SD?

1) I don't know about forwarders, sorry.

2) IIRC, this means you are using component cables or your virtual NAND is configured to use it. How to fix this (from Wikipedia):

The mode can be enabled by accessing the operations guide of the game, and (with the Nunchuk attached) pressing the buttons Z + A + 2 simultaneously. A sound is played if the mode is enabled correctly. The mode can be disabled by using the same method, but with the button combination Z + A + 1 instead.
 
Tried Mighty Channel with cIOS 249 Rev17 and Rev21 (both base 38) and I got the "I can't get title list. ret=-1" error both times. Could this be because the FAT32 formatted partition with the NAND files is partition 3 in my USB HDD, rather than partition 1?
