Hacking Might sell Wii, want to remove hbc/priiloader/etc.

Hi,

I'm thinking about selling my Wii. It doesn't have to be completely unmodded, just I don't want priiloader popping up when it boots up and I don't want the homebrew channel showing anymore. Basically it should look like a normal wii to the average person and be completely functional like a normal wii, but doesn't have to be fully virginized.

What's the best way to do this without bricking the Wii? Is there anything else I should remove?

What about deinstalling priiloader and hbc? both have an uninstall feature within the installer.

Priiloader I just removed no problem. HBC...should I just remove it like I would any other channel within the Wii through settings, or is there some danger to that?

Also, do you think there's anything else I should do, or the system after that would be fine. I want whoever buys this to be able to update the firmware online if they want and not end up with a bricked wii or having problems with games etc.

As long as it hasn't been region changed (especially from a Korean Wii) then official updates will run smoothly. All cIOS' except for Hermes' will be removed. You need to use anytitle deleter or something to delete Hermes' cIOS, since they are unable to be written over. Other than that, running the HackMii Installer and Priiloader installer will allow you to remove both the HBC and Priiloader through their uninstall functions.
