No. The Mig Switch Gamecard likely lacks the additional contacts to even support a micro SD Express Card. Using one had likely make it fallback into regular microSD Card Mode.does it need an express SD card in the MIG switch to work on switch 2?
That will 100% result in a ban.Can someone risk testing pirated switch 1 game on the switch 2 ? LOL

Yes because every cartridge has a unique certificate associated with it. So Nintendo just has a database of all of the cart IDs that are known to be in distrobution.Sadly, yes: MIG = ban
I got MigSwitch and downloaded that huge file that were MigSwitch dumps. I connected with internet and also Linked my Nintendo account. I'm not sure which game triggered the ban but it happened. I did not play online at all.
I have another unmodded OLED switch and my follow up question is: If I connect to internet only for game updates, but do not link Nintendo account, is there a risk of ban?
Switch firmware version is 18.1.0

That guy in all honesty is just ignorant, you should know at least something about all their telemetry logging. Investing into it you think people would know what they're getting into but no, they just want "muh fre gaemz" without actually doing any research. Couldn't express enough to people at the time of the Mig's release that investing in getting your console chipped is the much better option, it has it's place as eliminating the need to carry around all of your carts but that's about it in my opinion.Sadly, yes: MIG = ban

Sadly, mixed dumps will also get your console banned.it is possible to dump an original game of yours and inject their ID on a torrent downloaded game to hide under the radar?

I believe that you should be safe if you use your own carts even if you connect to the Nintendo servers. Sadly, nothing is 100% guaranteed. So, with mig switch now working on Switch 2, how can one actually use it "safely"? IIRC, Nintendo did ban people even with legitimate cartridge dumps (or was that a hoax?). And given that some Switch 1 games require an update, you have to be online to get it first, thus probably getting banned (and no longer being able to download the updates/patches).

Banned Switch 1 consoles do. Not sure if it's the same for Switch 2 consoles, but you should be able to download firmware updates only on banned consoles.Banned consoles dont get firmware updates?
He got banned for using public dumpsSadly, yes: MIG = ban

From Nintendo's server perspective, there is no difference between sharing the same unique identifier because of several people using a pirated copy downloaded from the internet or a game card by selling it after dumping it.Could probably get away with buying cheap games on FB marketplace or small 2nd hand game stores, dumping them, and then selling them again. It's unlikely that 2 or more people would be playing that exact game at the same time. It's still a risk, but just a small risk instead of a certainty like using a public dump is.
I'd risk it on a Switch 1, but not on my new Switch 2 lol
