MIDI tab player

Is there such a program that can play back MIDI files, and show guitar tabs during playback?

My dad wants to get an MIDI guitar and a program that will show him the tabs he's supposed to play in real-time (or something like that)

Guitar Pro 5 i believe is what you're looking for. It plays tunes back to you and shows you what to play. You can import midi files and also download guitar tabs which play on the program. Give it a shot..Nice program

Actually mysongbook is crap now due to all this legality regarding guitar tablature...Even MXtabs.net cant provide guitar tabs anymore even tho they used to be the best tab site ever!
