Hacking microSD USB 2.0 help

I borrowed a MicroSD USB 2.0 from my dad's girlfriend (her kids have R4 and had a spare USB) and used it for My DSTT. It worked fine for a few weeks. and then for no reason at all it stoped working

. It isn't detected in any computer and the red light doesn't come on, any idea why this happened or how to fix it

First guess: dead reader. Try getting another MicroSD reader and reformatting your card

Did you try all your USB Ports?

it will only work in 2.0 i think... i'll check

nvm i opens in any usb

yes I did, but no luck at all. I needed to use it today because my brother lost my other one yesterday. and I can only go on a computer whilst I'm at my grandmothers house (she is babysitting the other three kids and I don't have a choice in the matter AGAIN), because my dad doesn't have internet on his laptop, and because me and my mum have issues. but thanks for the help anyways guys

if so u could get a micro sd card adapter

Same thing happened to me & to this day NO micro sd card reader will work on my pc??? so thankfully ive a psp 2000 and a adpater to read the micro sd in the psp,its kinda funny using a psp to do ds file transfers but it works so im happy.......
