Gaming MicroSD(HC) software gone

Help please...
When I put my micro SDHC in my computer I get an error: control software not installed. But I know it is installed, I already tried re-installing it but it still doesn't work (The problem is not the micro SDHC because when I put it in my DS it works fine). Someone please help me!

Are you using a Micro SD to SD adapter to use it in your cardreader?
- If so the SD adapter might be worn out.

Are you using one of the cardreader USB adapters that reads the micro SD directly?
- Try another USB port.
- Try using another reader.

If that all does not do the job try reading the SD in another computer.
See if the computer is causing the trouble at all.

Done. Doesn't work
- Try using another reader.
Using my friends USB it works fine.
If that all does not do the job try reading the SD in another computer.
Done. Using my brothers computer and my USB it doesn't work, using my friends computer and his adapter works fine so I think my USB is dead.
See if the computer is causing the trouble at all.

Btw.:Sometimes my computer notices the USB, but most off the time not.

So I think I'll need to buy a new USB. (But first I'll try using my friends USB at my computer.)
