Today woot has a 2gb micro SD for 2.59 + 5$ shipping. Great deal if you get 2 or 3

www.woot.com
so your left paying almost $8 for a 2GB card ...

He mentioned that it's good if you get 2 or more. If you get it with friends, you can split shipping so it makes it even cheaper.

Hey guys, thought I'd share this deal I found on Kingston's official store, ordered one myself last night.

http://shop.kingston.com/partsinfo.asp?ktc...p;promo=prcgrbr

Free shipping for US (sorry everyone else

) brings this 2gb MicroSD + USB reader to $9.
Especially useful if you don't already have a reader like me, and don't want to use the one's that come with flash carts.

I have this, and the reader is similar in size but better quality than the ones that come with certain flash carts. It only reads microSD though (it does not support microSDHC).

Aw crap. Oh well I don't think I'll be upgrading my memory for a while anyway, still waiting on my first flashcart ever in the mail

Here's a reader that a lot of people like and I believe it does support SDHC: http://www.meritline.com/kingston-mobillite-card-reader.html

how do you evaluate what 'class' a micro SD card is. I'm thinking of buying an 8GB kingston for $36AUD, whereas 8GB sandisk is $46 AUD. Is there really that much of a difference in the speed of these two micro sd cards?

The 4GB Transcend Class 6 I posted earlier is back in stock at newegg! 8.99 free shipping. max 2.. read my previous post for link.
