Yes and No.
They are not directly compatible
but it is possible to buy a
PRO Duo sized adapter for Micro
SD's.

You can use Micro SD cards with a MSPD adaptor like the Photofast-5400. But these adaptors are really hit and miss, some work perfectly, some don't work at all. I have one myself and it works ok.

Personally I suggest you use an actual Memory Stick. I use this which works nicely.

Off-Topic - What the hell is with your custom statement Emigre?
I thought you was a Sony fanboy?

On-Topic - Yeah actual sticks are better.

If you want cheap, REAL CHEAP go to DealExtreme
and pick up a fake. Otherwise they can be a bit pricey sometimes.

But most people wouldn't recommend a fake.

A dedication to my addiction to Peggle. Also I'm not a fanboy of Sony or any company.

QUOTE(crimsonwish @ Sep 21 2011, 10:36 AM) any cheap sites because as it stands my aunties boyfriend as offered me a psp for £20 with a pandora battery but hes only got a 4gb card? cheapest 16gb iv seen is like $23 on ebay

MSPD prices are a bit of a pin compared to SD but don't go down the ebay route. There's a relatively good chance you'll get a fake stick. Personally I say just use the 4GB stick or get an 8GB. I use a 4GB myself and I honestly struggle to fill it up.

@ Emiger - Ah ok I swore I saw you post a heap of stuff which was
definite fanboyism to Sony. I guess not

@ OP - If you want to pirate get a 8-16GB stick.

Buy a stick from DX? Burn your money more like.

TC just use Play.com

However, DX offer the poorest quality fakes that you can have corrupt or fail on you. They hardly even bother to disguise that they're fake.

If you're going to get a fake, at least get one from somewhere that makes half an effort.

I did manage to find one on DX with good reviews
and people stating they didnt notice the difference.

Although come to think of it that could be
fabricated reviews.

Do NOT ever but from a DX site or something like that when buying memory. Go to a real store and buy a real stick because you will end up with a 16GB stick for $10, take it home, realize its partitioned into three 6 GB portions and 2 of them are bricked off. and the other 6 are cheap and will break in 4 months of use.
