Hello, I needed to create bootable USB to install Windows on my laptop so I used Kingston microSD card with usb reader to use it like a USB stick. I installed Windows, and formatted the Kingston card with Guiformat Fat32, then copied all the 3DS files back on the card, but my new 3ds xl cannot access the microSD. When I stick other microSD in it, the 3ds is creating all the files fine so it's not faulty. The Kingston microSD is working fine on my PC and my phone too. Please help

  1. Copy everything off your SD card.
  2. Use MiniTool Partition Wizard (free edition) to reformat your card with these settings:
    • Delete Partition
    • Initialize to MBR Disk -or- Convert GPT to MBR Disk (if it's in GPT Disk)
    • Rebuild MBR
    • Create a New Partition [ Create as: Primary | File System: FAT32 | Cluster Size: 32 KB ]
  3. Check your card for hardware issues using H2testw in a Full Write + Verify Test.
  4. If it passes, delete the *.h2w test files and put everything back on.
