Hacking Microphone games crash sometimes

I use a 2nd hand PAL DS Classic with a M3 Real(3.4 kernel).

This is my problem:
When I start a Mario Party mini-game which utilizes the microphone, my DS crashes. I don't have this problem with Nintendogs(Lab&friends) and Electroplankton.
My Mario Party game is PAL, and Electroplankton is USA, so I don't think it has anything to do with the region.
Anyone got a solution?
