Anyone ever try this? I ordered a 4GB MicroSDHC w/adapter for cheap, I also have 2 Kingston 2GB and a Patriot 1GB Micro SD's, but dunno If I can use them to be a Magic Memory stick or does it have to be a real MS Pro DUO card? Thanks!

I've not experience any problems except with some lag in .cso of the GTA games (which are problematic in .cso form for most Memory Stick Pro Duo anyhow). I'm using Transcend 4GB Class 6 in all my 6 adapters I bought from DX. No problems whatsoever.

I think you misunderstood me. I only meant that MagicGate will affect if it can be a Magic Memory Stick (MMS). I know this has nothing to do with playing games, but if it does not support MagicGate, he will not be able to patch the CFW onto his PSP and will have to buy something else as well. As I said above, I don't have this combination, I'm only talking about speed test results I've seen (not good) and discussion with people that do have it.roguetrip said:Valkrys said:Not sure about MMS (has to support MagicGate) but it won't be a good solution for playing games, as the adapter kills the speed (read and write).
On PS3 forums they didn't have issues, plus if you are having issues it might be due to a class4 card, I made sure to get a 4GB class6 card, hopefully it will work out fine, only paid 17.99+S/H for the 4GB+Adapter
I've only read about this at Maxconsole, maybe the newer, better microSD have improved upon this problem. If so, great!

That is untrue. MagicGate means absolutely shit when it comes to playing games. I've been using my 8gb microSD and pro duo adapter and everything works just fine.![]()
