Hacking Micro SD Card Broke... but didnt..

I borrowed my friends micro sd card reader and put some games on my ds, a week later i did it again, but when it loaded up my micro sd folder, the folder froze.

I tried to unplug it and replug it back in, but it said i needed to format my sd card. I tried to format my SD card but it wouldn't work...

i plugged my sd card back into my ds and all the game that were already on it still worked...

whats going on? is my SD card broken, or is it the microSD reader?

can i fix this?

If the DS can read the SD, that means that the Micro is perfectly functional. It's probably a problem with your Micro SD reader.

If you have a different reader, try that.

As for fixing the reader itself, I'm not too sure on that. It could have died on you.

its your card reader.. get a new one and make sure it supports sdhc

i was almost positive it was the reader.... its my friends reader, so i guess i was in denial lol...

its wierd tho, one second it was working, then it froze and boom it doesn't work anymore?

have you already tried different USB connectors or computers to use the card reader? just a guess.
