Hey i had a cuestion, i have my MHXX(3DS) and i want to convert the save data of that game and pass it to MHGU Switch? i cand do it ?

You need to export the extData on 3ds mhxx
And an export from your switch mhgu. Load the 3ds save first.
Then select "convert" from menu and here "to switch". Open your exported (can be empty) switch mhgu save. Your 3ds data will be transfered. Save, and import on switch !

Sounds like you have dlc gear from MHXX equipped that is not available in MHGU.
Remove/Sell those anime etc dlc armor that is japan exclusive.

I used JKSM on 3ds to export
And EdiZon on switch to export/import.

yeah its worth a try. use the original editor tool to convert to 3ds, then mine to convert to mhgu.

i think until someone figures out how to remove Japanese MHXX event items and quests there may be some errors though

My 3ds MHXX event quests are still present and the game crashes when I click this menu. There is still no way to remove the dlc quest data?
Then I think i will create a new switch save and edit my gear into it.

So to use this, I would need to homebrew my switch, extract my MHGU save, move it to my computer, inject it into the program, edit it, move it back to my switch, profit?

Question how do you compile the editor with the update itemxc file thanks

there is an option for export

gys! try these files out. import them out

1. equipments 1 (.eqpboXX file)
2. equipments 2 (.eqpboXX file)
3.2239 items (.itemXX file)
4. 2185 items(.itemXX file)
5. tons of items plus scrap items(.itemXX file)

note: when importing equpments, only boxes 9-20 will be imported
note 2: to maximize these items on box, you should expand your box slot minimum of 20+ slots

best way to import items, check what you only need on the app menu, same goes for equipments,

Is there anyway to modify my save from my hard copy of MHGU???
I have emunand on the last 6.0 version because I can’t update cuz sxos hasn’t come through with the update, but on my sysnand I have 7.0.1 to play mhgu but I want that save modified. Anyway? Any help?

I’m hoping someone can help me with with this.

My objective is to get a talisman that’s possible to get in the game but via editing a save file instead of farming with no guarantee of ever getting it. The catch is that I’m wanting to do it without modding my Switch so that I can still play online without fear of being banned. I think this is possible by editing a save file for one of the 3DS versions of this game (would Generations or XX for 3DS work?) and then transferring the edited 3DS game file to my Switch via the save transfer app for this game (I have a 3DS with CFW).

So, is this possible without modding my Switch while avoiding getting banned from online play? If so, would it be as simple as I’ve outlined above or is there more to it?
