I have a problem with this ROM, i put the rom in my gateway's Micro sd, and start the game, but only have a black screen and no more

any solution?

P.d: sorry for my bad english xD :yaynds:

how big is your sd card? (the normal size sd card, not micro) :)
- because it seems it might not work if your sd card is smaller than 4gb, or, if you have less than 1.5gb of space...

try a bigger sd card etc

Is the default SD, 2gb.
The game need this space, for what?
Thanks.

for what? i'm not sure :)
but, super smash bros 3ds has problems if the card is not 4gb (it seems)
i think mh4 is the same.
i think both games use more system power on the 3ds, when you exit them, you need to load the gateway exploit again, because it restarts the 3ds (go to settings... etc)

I'm almost sure Smash Bros is the first game in using this feature and also I think this was implemented since 8.0. so MH4 is not using the extra memory.

Are you even using the latest GW's launcher?

- i just tried it again now, and yeah... i'm right.
nothing about new stuff implemented in 8.0, lol
so, mh4 is using the extra memory

super smash is not the first game using the feature, mh4 might not have been the first, ssb might not have been the 2nd. it's just the most popular game that people want to try and see.

Yes, I have... months ago. It didn't behave like Smash at all.

Maybe the JAP update implemented this?

maybe the update did implement it :)

If you're using an american 3ds, theres no way for you to have the update anyways.
My rom is the first and only retail version. It loads slower than most games, and it resets the 3ds when you exit.

Not sure why but this is the first im hearing of extra memory.
Never knew the problem but im pretty sure like you said, its not something implemented in 8.0.

My MH4 resets the 3DS when exiting as well, I have to open another software to prevent a soft reset.

But the thread isn't about soft reset but that he can't open his MH4 ROM? What's your Gateway launcher version?

Yay, Warez enables us too play games even sooner.

Man, but the micro SD's size won't have affect on launching. Idk much about but I can say that all stuff that is being saved on the microSD with the first launch of the ROM won't have affect on wheter the game launches or not.
Maybe the launcher is not the newest or it's a dirty ROM.

The micro SD card for your Gateway doesn't, we're talking about the SD card inside your 3DS. AFAIK the new Smash Bro can't work on lower capacity SD cards.
