Hacking Metroid Zero Mission Won't Load

I'm using my Supercard DSOne in conjunction with a Supercard MiniSD (for extra RAM and GBA games) and have been loading GBA games with good success (although I have only loaded Metroid:Fusion) However when I tried to load Zero Mission I got a black screen and some random noises. I then tried the US version (I originally tried the EU version) and got the same again but with a white screen.

Any ideas as to what's going on or alternative ways to load the game?
