I´m almost at the end (i think
wink.gif
) and it freezes after
i´ve beaten the Mother Queen in a cutscene
tried it now with cIOS rev20 base57 and hermes cIOS v4 base38 and it freezes at the exact same point. Well could be that the non-Scene release isn´t complete too (Anyone had the same problem !?)
Same here.
Freezes in the cutscene after
defeating Metroid Queen, when the woman says that AIs often analyze themselves
Got past that scene.
I used the original, non german patched ISO, updated cfg-loader to 59a, used IOS222v5.1, changed language to English, forced PAL60 and activated Video Patch, VIDTV Patch, Country Fix, Anti 002 Fix and Block IOS reload, so I can't say what caused the freeze.

1. Freeze at Ridley Cutscene
2. WBFS File on Fat32 USB HDD
3. waninkoko 249, hermes 222 latest
4. USB Loader GX and Configurable USB Loader 222
5. NTSC Multi 3 ******
6. No
7. Cutscene freeze frames and wii lockes up. every time at the same place. I am not sure if its the Fat32 fault (layer break?) or if its an issue with compatibility. i also checked a new file which is currently loading, its said to work better than the one i ahve, which seems to be a underdumped version...

Mine freezes at the same place.

1. Freeze at Ridley Cutscene
2. WBFS (not FAT/NTFS)
3. freezes using both waninkoko 249 and hermes 222
4. USB Loader GX latest
5. "Metroid_ Other M.rar", not sure which one is that
6. No
7. Cutscene freeze frames and wii lockes up. every time at the same place.

What rev of hermes 222 did you try? I believe GX supports 4 but not 5 - I use rev 899 GX w/ hermes 222 r4 no problem.

I'm using r4 as well! I'm looking all over the place for a fix, but J0ker is the only other mention I could find of freezing at that particular point...

1. No (I think)
I have just had Section Zero jettison away from main "ship" and are going back to Section 1 now, no freezes so far.
2. WBFS
3. cIOS57rev20b
4. CFG Loader v58
5. XB3
6. Yes, WBFS Manager 3.0 is removing update partition when moving the game to HDD.
7. No issues plays great.

1. No (played for several hours)
2. WBFS partition
3. Waninkoko's cIOS r20base57
4. CFG USB Loader (58 & 59a, both works)
5. The first Leaked one (it's the same as iND release) (NTSC-U)
6. No, it was already removed.
7. No problems, works just fine.

Using a PAL system and the deafult game settings in CFG USB Loader, apart from my choice of IOS slot.

Not sure if it counts, but the game works in UNEEK+DI for me.

1. No
2. FAT32 with 32 kb clusters as required by UNEEK+DI
3. No cIOS. UNEEK+DI
4. UNEEK+DI
5. It wasn't a scene release, but a home rip. I think most of the people having issues are using shitty scene releases.
6. No, but automatic I think. DiscEx just ignores the update partition entirely I believe.
7. Never messed up for me. Well, it did once when I somehow corrupted my nand, but not after that once I replaced it with a known good nand dump.

It was already removed in your release.
Btw, WBFS Manager only does this if the settings tells it to..

1. Did it freeze for you at the Baby's Cry Cutscene? nope
2. Which filesystem did you use? Or did you use a disc? WBFS
3. Which cIOS did you try? cIOS56_rev20
4. Which loader did you use? Which revision? CFG latest (59..??)
5. Which release did you use? the files where named as mom_[multi_3]_sumthin' so I think is the iND one
6. Did you remove the update partition manually? If yes, how? nope just used WBFS Intelligent manager setting option as dump only game partition
7. Please describe the issue: Does it with the picture on screen? Black screen? "An error occurred"? No issues at all (so far)

Tried a few more combinations:

1. Freeze at Ridley Cutscene
2. WBFS (not FAT/NTFS)
3. freezes: waninkoko cIOSX rev19 (249), hermes v4 based on 38 merged with 37 (222) and hermes v5 based on 57 (223).
4. USB Loader GX and Configurable, latest
5. "Metroid_ Other M.rar", not sure which one is that
6. No
7. Cutscene freeze frames and wii lockes up. every time at the same place.

1. Did it freeze for you at the Baby's Cry Cutscene? If it freezed on other cutscene, please describe it here.
Yup, just as the asteroids begin to fly

2. Which filesystem did you use? Or did you use a disc?
USB WBFS

3. Which cIOS did you try? Please only post the cIOS your loader actually used. There's no point in writing about Hermes and Waninkoko in CFG for example, if you have both installed, but don't tell CFG correctly to use the one or the other.
17,19,20b

4. Which loader did you use? Which revision?
USB Loader GX, Configurable USB Loader, Neogamma, WiiFlow

5. Which release did you use?
Both the IND and WiiTard releases. Trying the WiiDude release now. (Err tomorrow, 7gb files take a day or so nonstop with the crappy internet I have atm.)

6. Did you remove the update partition manually? If yes, how?
Yes, WBFS Manager 3.0 removed it automatically

7. Please describe the issue: Does it with the picture on screen? Black screen? "An error occurred"?
Picture freezes in the asteroid field.

Turns out it was just a coincidence: I finally managed to get past that part by removing and reinstalling the game on the HDD.

Is that the WiiDude09 version? The one that works?
