Hello, I am brand new to the 3DS homebrew scene and am trying to get a CFW installed. I am following this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-more-or-less-catch-all-tutorial.407080/

I have an Old 3DS running firmware 9.2.0-20U. I successfully booted into the Homebrew Channel using browserhax, and then I installed menuhax (2.2?). However, when I hold the L button while powering on my 3DS, I just get taken to the regular 3DS Home screen. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling menuhax, and still nothing has changed. I have also tried changing to the Type2 boot sequence with A as my trigger so that it may boot without any button presses, and I still get taken tho the regular 3DS home screen. Also, I have never changed my theme after installing menuhax.

Does anybody know what is wrong?

Change the theme to another basic one before installing, just in case

you have to set a theme first. it creates the data needed for themehax/menuhax to work.
