Homebrew MenuDO Questions

because of MenuDO, i am now srsly confused! should i just go ahead and buy an AK2i, or should i just wait for MenuDO and use my Current [crap of a flash cart] R4iUltra!

question:
what do you have left to make/develop ?
or
How far are you in development
(sorry if this has been asked before)

Regardless of MENUdo or not, you should get an AK2i over your R4iUltra. The R4iUltra, as you know, sucks.

As for development, Soul's close to being done AFAIK. Wi-Fi's being worked on, and some functionality needs to be added (possibly MP3 playback in the media player?). After that and bug fixes are made, I think that's it.

Where did you hear that? Either way, Soul ran into some personal problems (which I don't know if he wants disclosed, so I won't say what they were) and was kinda out of commission for a week or so. He seems to be alright now though.

Someone I know got somewhere along those lines at me and kept snapping.... Then he found out that some crappy Imagine game had been dumped. The next day, I ask him about MenuDO and he says "wats menudo"... *Sigh* Such innocence and bored forgetfulness...... And idiocy. Who in their right mind actually plays an imagine game?

Dear Soul, testers and ANYONE else involved:

After a long lurk into this thread I have much to say about all I've see, but no questions:

These past months have been stressful for all of you guys/gals. You are still doing this for fun and development of the homebrew community, and we are (of course) really grateful for your work, presented features and supportive comments. If you ever need our support, it is now!

In these times, when flamers and trolls are surrounding you from all angles, we all really need to stick together. We need to work these forums and other homebrew as it would be our cute and possibly underages neighbor - gently but with a firm hand. Instead of bashing each other we really have to build the all homebrew as we want it to be.

We just don't want to see homebrew being slaughtered to death by flamers, and since homebrew and commenting is what we do that is also what we can provide. We know you've been working so hard throughout these months, rain or shine, and we really hope that they it make a difference in these forums. Actually, I KNOW that it will, and that makes me happy.

Remember this, Dev's, we really love you for all hard work you put into all this. Together we can build the homebrew of our futures. Awesomeness will be what we make of it.

Never stop the homebrewing 'til it's done, as all developers.

While posting I came up with a question (though whether it was answered or not I have no idea anymore). The demo things that were released (the doodle thing and music player) were separate nds files, but the not final "final release" is going to have it all in one nds file right?

You betcha. In the final release, everything is in one .nds file. Well, except for a folder that you add to the root of your card, but all the apps themselves are in a single .nds file.
