Tired and fed up here

2 hours searching and still no idea how to play a game from mem stick (4 GIG MAXELL)

Used Xzero brilliant guide to get me up and running with the latest stuff

Got a 500 gig HDD full o games, all good stuff

but I would like the option of putting a few smaller games on a 4 gig stick

and use it when the hard drive is at my sons house.

Cant get a definative answer to using the stick from anywhere ive googled all day

I would like a small FAT partition and WBFS Partition for a few games but my XP wont let me

delete partition and start again.

Any proper help would be amazing thanks if it happens.

I don't think you can use memory sticks(the psp ones right?) for the wii, even with the adaptor it doesn't fit in the wii's sd card if you compare a sd card's back to a memory stick they are different shapes and sizes
sorry,I was dissapointed too when I discovered this, but its nothing buying a 4gb sd card cant fix(their really cheap right now)

A memory stick your referring to is a 4GB USB memory stick/pendrive/flashdrive, correct?
I use one all the time, as long as the game itself will fit. Format it with WBFS manager, or Wii Backup Manager for windows and your good.
Why bother putting a partition on it?
Your just gonna lose that more space on it, and a 4GB ain't gonna hold much at all, if one game.
Or try what Longtom1 stated....................

Thanks I'm trying to launch neogamma from my apps folder on the USB thru HBC
but it asks me to load wbfs >> USB

problem is I cant format the drive to wbfs when i try thru disc management the remove partition option is greyd out (using XP)

Ideally I would like to partion the drive Fat 32(1mb) enough for apps folder with neogamma
and a raw partition for my wbfs manager for a few low sized games (wii play and sports)

But cant get the usb stick drive to RAW

HELP pls - I'm goin insane!

Why not use a sd card for your neogamma AND also just put your games on the 4GB USB stick formatted with WBFS manager? You DO know it has to be formatted with WBFS Manager, not disc management on your computer, right? Put BOTH in the Wii, load your Neogamma from HBC using SD card, choose load game from WBFS USB on Neogamma, and your all set.
Your just racking your brain partitioning that USB stick...........

Or, install Neogamma as a channel instead of loading it from HBC and a SD card. Just google Neogamma R8 .wad...........

WBFS Manager won't let me format the drive - it's doin my head in

maybe try another usb stick and like u said run the apps folder from sd

does wbfs manager format FAT32? cant reformat to ntfs either!!!
