Homebrew Memory expansion options?

Hey guys, I've had a look around awhile I'm sure the answer is buried in here somewhere but I can't seem to find it so I thought it easier to ask. I'm in need of a memory expansion for slot2 and was wondering if I would be able to use my GBA flash cart 'flash2advance ultra 1g' or if I would have to purchase a 3 in 1. I haven't found any info on the subject which makes me think I probably won't be getting away with my old cart, but if I can that would sure save me a little bit of time and money so any feedback is much appreciated.

You have to get a 3 in 1 or another expansion. Unless extra RAM is advertised with your slot 2 card

If I were you I'd replace your current slot 2

The F2AU has nothing but NOR flash, and there's no way to write to it while it's in the DS. If you want an expansion pack, I'd suggest upgrading to something else like the 3in1. If you still have a GBA or GBA SP with which you can flash the F2AU, you can still use it to play GBA games in the DS, but again it's not really an expansion pack.
