That is and still are my ZX controls as far as I know.

You can configure X and Y in the controls menu on the touch screen.

for me, it would be
L = Dash
B = Jump
R = Sub
A = main instead

but still, i don't see that much of a difficulty, unless your shoulder buttons are spoiled, if not, all it required is u to stop whining and just get used to them, and that's it.

The Controls are pretty much normal to me. Seeing this is my 4th Megaman game so far I'm pretty much used to it. Although I did change the main attack to Y and the Jump to B I don't see whats ultra bad with the original controls...

[sarcasm] but complaining is what the internet is for, isn't it?[/sarcasm]

Anyway, I wanted X and Y controls 'cause my shoulder buttons are going out, but I still prefer traditional MegaMan X controls (with added subweapon)

A: Dash
B: Jump
Y: Main Weapon
X: Sub Weapon

My fingers are just used to it, since I've been playing MegaMan that way since I was a kid. I played the whole way home from work on the train, and it just feels right.

I don't see what the issue is with the controls......you can set them up however you like in the options. I have it setup as:

Y - Fire (A is the alternate)
B - Jump (X is the alternate)
L - Dash
R - main/sub-weapon toggle

But I tend not to use A and X in this game. I like having it where fire is Y, and I can just roll my thumb back to hit jump with B.

If one of your shoulder buttons doesn't work, set Dash to that button.....because you can also just tap-tap in a direction on the Dpad to Dash.

I applaud Capcom for at least giving you the option to set up the controls. All games should have such options.

How are you guys able to set your B button to jump? It seems to only allow me to set the X and Y buttons.

I quite pleased with the controls.
Right now I have them set up just like I did on my GBA:

Attack Mode B.

A - Main Weapon.(Y as alternate)
B - Sub-Weapon.(X as alternate)
L - Jump.
R - Dash.

Like Rayder, I tend not to use X(except in Zero 4, where it's toss) or A.

EDIT: @GeekyGuy.
Go to button settings in the pause menu, then move over to custom and press down. From there set them to whatever you want.

to @GeekyGuy:

select type C and set the buttons you want for each action, that's what i did:

A - Main Weapon
B - Jump
L - Dash
R - Sub Weapon

with this is easy fire (charge) and jump at the same time with your thumb without having to move it to another direction

Doh!

Sorry, didn't realize I could change each individual button like that.

Thanks a bunch! Much, much better.

if you want to set the controls to how you play them on ZX or ZXA, I tweeted this earlier.

setup: main wpn- A, jump- B, dash- L, sub wpn- r, now have X set to R & have Y set to A. Simple isn't it?
