Mega Man Universe Sounds Like Capcom’s Next Mega Man Project

Capcom revitalized Mega Man by going back to basics. Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 were hot items and drew in a broader crowd than Mega Man Star Force. Being one of Capcom’s biggest franchises, they must have other plans for Mega Man beyond downloadable games.

Perhaps, Mega Man Universe is their next major Mega Man project. Capcom trademarked Mega Man Universe in the USA and they have a pretty good track record when it comes to using trademarks. Remember Okamiden, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, and Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth? All of those games were outed by trademark registrations dug up by Siliconera.

This discovery comes just a day after Seth Killian, Capcom’s Community Manager, hinted at a surprises for Mega Man fans.
