Capcom revitalized Mega Man by going back to basics. Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10 were hot items and drew in a broader crowd than Mega Man Star Force. Being one of Capcom’s biggest franchises, they must have other plans for Mega Man beyond downloadable games.

Perhaps, Mega Man Universe is their next major Mega Man project. Capcom trademarked Mega Man Universe in the USA and they have a pretty good track record when it comes to using trademarks. Remember Okamiden, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, and Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth? All of those games were outed by trademark registrations dug up by Siliconera.

This discovery comes just a day after Seth Killian, Capcom’s Community Manager, hinted at a surprises for Mega Man fans.

Maybe we'll finally get another 3D Megaman game, Legends never felt as good as it could have been. Maybe one for Wii that uses the motion controls for aiming or something.

I'm cool on a Wii Megaman Legends....but I would like to see what they got cooking...hopefully its for the Playstation.

I'm not actually for a Megaman Legends 3, just an all new 3D Megaman. Unless they manage to fix the blandness of the original Legends games in terms of dungeon design. 3D Megaman needs a style reminiscent of the Phantasy Star Online games. I feel their fusion of technology and nature works incredibly well in terms of atmosphere.

Phantasy Star Universe annoys me to no end. I'm all ready paying 50 dollars a year to rip-offsoft. Why should i have to pay addtional 15 dollars a month for PSU online mode?

Because you're playing it on Sega's servers which aren't affiliated with microsoft?

solution: play blue burst on a private server
