Release date finally confirmed (vaguely, but meh). The two verions will be called Zerker x Saurian and Zerker x Ninja. Anyone else hyped about this game besides me and my MMBN/MMSF fanboy self?

Anyway, to summarize (thanks to Infinity-X for clearing everything up):
- There will be 3 elements.
- Each game will cover contain two of the 3 elements.
- Zerker element (which is in both games) will give Mega Man a lightning-powered sword (electric type)
- Ninja element lets him throw a big Shurikan
- Saurian element will give him the power of "explosive fiery fists" and gives a burst of power
- Mega Man is fighting off a breed of UMA (unidentified animated beings) from the lost continent of Mu.
- The game will take place two months after the ending of its predecessor
- The main rival is named "Rogue."
- You can now trade cards/abilities/transformations and battle on Wifi.

Its a real-time combat on 3 panels i believe. I played the first MMSF Dragon/Leo/Pegasus and beat them.

Glad to hear that its coming soon ya

Hope they add some depth to the combat system. It really sucked in the first Ryuusei game.

Haven't got a chance to play the first one, but I'm happy their making sequels.

Now let's hope it isn't going to be the same old thing for 4 more series.

It's real-time on 9 panels each I think (3 x 3) if it's anything like the battle network series.
The changed it. It's now only 1x3. You can only move left and right, while the other person can move in 9 spac es. Not sure about if you fight another person over wifi though.

You can fight on Wifi now. It's an added feature in this game.

@ Batman55:
You are given one row that you can move left and right on to fight and your opponent gets 3 rows. Each row has 3 panels. You basically use your machine-gun-type weapon and various powerful attacks that you obtain from using "cards" in battle. The combat is completely real-time. You can buy more powerful cards as the game goes on, trade cards, earn cards from battles, etc. You can also upgrade your gun (known as the Buster) by obtaining different types of Busters in-game or through the 3 transformations.

@ Darkuli:
It is basically the same as the first game except for different transformations.

I'll give the first one a try then. And actually, I didn't give Battle Network a fair shot acouple years ago. I played about twenty minutes and decided I didn't like that. So I might give those another chance too.

Great, hope you like it!

Some reviewers also need to drop the hate from Starforce, they complain it's a bit alike to Battle Network, so it's an automatic suck for them.

P.S: I actually loved the Battle Network series, but 6 was too goddamn boring lol.

Ok for one, let me clear some things up.

-"Rogue" is not the main villain if you can read. He is Geo's rival. (Like Protoman is Mega Man's rival).
-Elec Zerker-Invokes the power of Zerker who gains lightning powers.
-Wood Ninja-Doesn't really increase his speed but does throw shuriken.
-Fire Saurian-Gives you a burst of power. You don't really use his fists though

In all honesty, Ryuusei no Rockman is essentially a worse version of the GBA .EXE games. Dumbed down battle system makes single-player ridiculously easy, and competitive battling worthless; the enviroment and storyline are 'meh' at best.

The animu has a much better storyline. Should have had it follow closer to that.

Oh :/
I really liked how tough the battle system in Battle Network was (To me it was).

I might check the Anime some time, it's MegaMan afterall.

Thanks for the insight, I'll have to check this as soon as possible.

Might not play this :/.

IMO Star Force wasn't that great a game, and what made it even worse was that the main character was such an emo tard.

Although the WiFi battling might be nice.

Seconded. Plus they screwed up the battling in my opinion. A 1x3 grid with a straight ahead perspective? Silly.

I've played the second one (Japanese version) and its really better then the first one. Wi-Fi can be a little laggy depending on your connection though.
