    Nope. No HFS support.

Most players don't even support NTFS. (Geexbox is the only thing that does read NTFS)

Since we're on the topic, can I play DVDs on my Wii? I've got it hacked on 4.0.

Use the Hackmii Installer (The installer for bootmii) and select 'Install DVDx'

GeeXbox plays from file systems like that yes, it just about has the same compat as MPlayerCE give or take a few which both either have problems playing or the other player plays better than one. namely HD [IMG]
MPlayerCE can load files from DVD Data, DVD-Video, SMB, Radio, SD, USB1.1, USB2.0 oh and it can seek though files extremely quick.
