as for the tutorial its pretty self explanatory.
I'm having an issue, but since I have only played the game with this translation I'm not sure if it's because of it or not. I'm playing the Kabuto version and have updated the game. my issue is that when I select the head attack "Berthold" it uses my left arm attack "Hiram Maxim". and when I select my left arm attack it uses the head attack. I used the CIA method to install. Could this be caused by this translation? or is it at least a known issue or something?

I played a bit more, and what I can gather from the story is that your medabot doesn't want to listen to you at first. now it works normally after progressing a bit in the story.

I must be doing something wrong but I cant seem to get the game into english with the provided steps.
If you actually played the game before thinking it was an issue, you would realise it's part of the story. It's not an uncommon thing for your NEW monster, pet or ally to not listen to you at first. So unless the game is showing something game breaking, it's most likely part of the game.
The steps are fairly simple, and if the step are too complicated... you may want to read up more on the basics of 3ds layerfs and cia extractions. Another method would be dumping your game/update and using citra, throwing all the romfs files into the mods folder.
GAME and UPDATE folder need to be used....
1. Place the patch's files into the /luma/titles/ on your SD card
2. Game titleIDs are 16 characters long and start with 00040000

I followed these steps and updated via CIa.
I have tried both versions and it does seem I am doing something wrong.

Hello again. I have been enjoying this game a lot but now it seems I have become stuck. After you accept the quest “Mine entrance” I triggers the first scene on the hill. But now it stays stuck on “continue up the stone/log staircase up the hill” and if I climb to the top nothing happens.
I have visited every sight and just am completely stuck it seems.

Nevermind it seems you need to hug the wals of the paths tightly cause you need to trigger it in a specific place.
