Max Payne Going Mobile

Seems Rockstar is happy with the success of their Grand Theft Auto III port to mobile devices, as they're also bringing the cult favorite Max Payne to iOS and Android beginning next week. A full port of the original game will release for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad on April 12, with the Android release following closely behind on April 26.

The game has been "optimized for both iOS and Android devices and features HD graphics, high-resolution textures, Social Club connectivity and user-customizable controls," according to Rockstar. The developer is keeping a broad audience in mind, as the game is said to run on iPhone 3GS and above, as well as iPad 1 and above.

I can't say I enjoy the first game anymore, its just ok. The second though, still as good as when it first came out. I can happily play that over and over.

GTA III controlled horribly with a touch screen, I have no idea how Max Payne would even be playable.

I remember not even being able to run this at full resolution as a kid. This blows my mind.
