PS1/2 MAX Memory 16MB Memory card

My brother has a 16MB Mem card that he's been using for quite a while...and recently, it hasn't been acting right. After a while of bugging out, it's no longer showing up as being detected in either my or my brother's PS2 (both are slimlines). What would cause this and how can I fix it? If necessary, I can use methods of Homebrew as I have FMCB on my mem card.

I believe so, but it's odd that it was detected without one and it wasn't sold with one.

Base on the reviews online, the memory card works fine the first day, and then over time it has the tendency of getting corrupted/not detected.

I recommend sticking with the Offical Sony memory cards, been working for me for four years.

ive had my share of those crappy 3rd party mem cards
just avoid them at all costs, nothing beat the real things
