Anybody have a request for a theme? I'm bored and I want a challenge to see if I can create a visually appealing theme. Can't have sound though. I'm not quite set up to do anything with sound right now. First one to reply will be the challenge.

I'd like a Cave Story theme.

I can work on getting sounds for it.

I've been using Gimp 2.8 (Not 2.0) as well, it's great for ton's of different types of Image Processing...especially making those wonderful flat wallpapers!

I'll be able to test suun(tm) just got find my sd adapter

Icon.png in the folder is intended for the .SMDH (I have no way to make one myself...)
There is also a ReadME.txt included explaining about the .SMDH

I never claimed that it is in Azenis style was referring only to the colors.

Thanks. I spent more time on the top wallpaper than I did anything else. I just couldn't get the screen to sit how I wanted at all or at a good resolution.

Then tinkered with the colors for a while too. Glad they were what you wanted.


How about that splash screen though?

When I use a theme, my HBL freezes. I go into settings and go back to the main page, it lags for about 4-5 seconds. Is this a bug or something with the themes themselves. I was thinking that maybe the themes were heavy on my O3DS XL, using all the sounds, music and backgrounds.

No I haven't heard about that problem. I know when you exit out of settings it saves your hbl.cfg file but that should only take half a second. Could you try deleting the hbl.cfg file? is inside the gridlauncher folder. Also try with a different SD card. When I first started using this launcher before it had custom themes I had a similar problem, loading folders took a lot of time for example. I re formatted my sd card and deleted a lot of unnecessary files I had and I haven't had any problems to date.

How did you change the L and R buttons on the touch screen? Tried that on my theme, but didn't really work.

Thanks! I've put probably 6 hours into this theme already... but yeah, I meant it when I said super WIP, I haven't decided on what I want to do for the appbackground quite yet, but I might do it tomorrow.
I'm also waiting for the page arrows to become editable so I can make the background arrows not invisible (which is fine, but also makes the page indicators invisible
As for the .SMDH files, I might make a thread for alternate .SMDH files for people like me who changing them a single place to find them. Or someone else make one haha.

It's just part of the background, I made the arrows 0% visible through the launcher's theme config. Unfortunately this makes the page indicators (the circles at the bottom) invisible as well (excluding the current page one).
