I would love to try this but I don’t trust Linux on Switch honestly.

What if Linux doesn’t turn on the fan correctly when the GPU gets hot, or decides to corrupt my internal filesystem or whatever.

I guess my question is, is this 100% safe to run?

Also... no sound I guess? How is sound _still_ a problem on Linux after all these years? :) I remember in 1999 I couldn’t get sound to work on my Linux box either.
1. Lol no, if the fan doesn't turn on above 30c its a hw defect. I have even tightend the ranges compared to hos just to be sure.
2. Emmc isnt enabled in kernel so it cant touch it
3. Sound requires some settings to enable that Langerhans likely didn't set in the video.

I don’t know much about the OS. I wonder why Vulkan would be limited to Linux. Maybe it could be ported to Horizon OS ?! Is it making use of Linux Kernel or something?
Vulkan isnt available via nouveau yet which is what all hos homebrew uses, it may be available eventually but it will still not be as fast.

Always this overstatement.

- No Sound
- Only a small part of a single game is shown in which there are zero details

I wouldn't overestimate it. You shouldn't expect too much and wait and see how it looks in reality.
If you want any details i havent already said somewhere feel free to ask

As cool as it is that this has been pulled off, I hope one day in the far future, devs will realize this on CFW instead of through linux. Still incredibly impressive regardless

Its fun, I like it, even tho I'm not a big harry potter fan. Like a wizard rpg. Flying around on a broomstick is cool.

Nuh just takes a min to get used to. I think you can upgrade or buy new broomstick also that are better.
