rip it, upload and share so we can check for you

you probably have to back it up. If you have a wiikey or any other first gen modchip, Nintendo can detect it and they probably applied a patch. Games like Super Smash Bros Brawl proved that.

If you have a D2CKEY or any other real stealth modchips, let us know because there shouldnt be a way to detect it.

You need to do the update on the disc to get it running. I imagine you have a modchip that needs to have the 'enable updates to run' option set on.

wait..nintendo could detect the modchip now and apply a patch

umm also..arent u not allowed to post links to torrents btw

That isn't a torrent per se. It's a link to mininova - a torrent search site.

It's on a private torrent anyways.

You will need to do the update for mario kart. Have you done it?

you can back up the disc, remove the update via some program and then u dont have to update your wii.

I dont remember what I did for the EU version, but I didnt have to run the update.

And yes they can detect modchips like the wiikey, cyclowiz, etc

theres been ways around it (ie the super mario galaxy fix, and the smash bros fix).

for some people originals dont work but backups do.
