Gaming Mario kart 7 hype thread

After seing this i thought id start an actual hype thread for mario kart 7 because there doesnt appear to be one other than the retro tracks one but OMG the first track shown here looks amazing and the others look better than the "new" tracks we've had in the past.

I think this has the potential to be the best mario kart yet!

Not getting this at release is going to be really difficult. I have an 11 hour flight in Jan and I've promised to save this game to keep me entertained for the duration!

Not really hyped, I mean, jeez it's Mario Kart, it's fun and all but nothing really new.

Probably going to get it anyway, it's a staple 3DS game.

Considering I played the DS mario kart for a ridiculous amount of time, i'll probably get this.

I'm totally hyped!
This game is going to be amazing, and the new tracks seem to have more depth than ever before!
Compared to the other 3DS games, this one is bound to have a lot more replay value with multiplayer and ghosts and whatnot

Well, I really enjoy playing my friends in Mario Kart ds and wii and the 3ds seem to add some good stuff to it,so yes I am.

Now that Super Mario 3D Land is out, I want this. Especially since 3 friends I see regularly together will get it day one. I can see tons of multiplayer sessions on the horizon.

I am really pleased with SM3D Land and I really think I'll enjoy MK7 more since I enjoyed MKDS much more than NSMB.

Also, the 32 tracks look damn amazing. My fav waluigi pinball is back and there are TWO F**KIN rainbow roads.

I've never been to into mario kart even though I've ended up playing the majority of them. However this one holds my interest to the point of me wanting an actual copy of it thanks to retrostudios being part of the development. I hope that it comes through very well.

I will be getting this game day 1 already preordered it at my gamestop along with super mario 3d land and I get the mario pin-set when I preorder both . Can't wait for 8 player multiplayer tournaments and online games. This game will last me a long while.

It's just another MarioKart game. Why all the hype?

- First person view , Driving by actually turning the 3DS
- Best set of retro tracks including 2 Rainbow roads plus what iv seen of the new stages look great
- Customize your cart fully and a huge selection of characters plus the mii's
- 8-player wifi plus the ability to custom create online matches so that you can set up matches that use specific items. So for EG you could make a match were the only pickups are green shells
- TANOOKI TAIL!!!

I haven't really been hyped for any game at all this year, but I might pick it up at launch. I have a lot of games to play (MW3, SM3DL, Skyward Sword, etc.) at the current time, so IDK. I don't want to have too many games to play at once, because then I'll end up not going back to some, and then never finishing them and whatnot.

Mario Kart 7 looks great though, and I can't wait to see the improved wi-fi play on it.

My hype on the game comes the from the fact that retro studios is part of the development team. I have loved all their titles (metroid prime series & Donkey kong country returns) to date so this is something I am extremely curious about on how it was handle.
