No I'm from the UK. Wrong flag LOL. Yes defo burnt the right disk. Is it ok to try and see if the 1.9b will still update?

What i mean is it ok to use it twice?

Try this:

Download Setup disk v1.3.

Unpack config.1.3.rar

Copy filechop.exe and fixsize.cmd over to bootdisc.pal.iso from 1.9g-beta.rar.

From the command prompt run "fixsize.cmd bootdisc.pal.iso".

bootdisc.pal.iso should now be about 1.4gb. Burn it and try again.

I have got the 1.9g zipped file on my desktop and the config 1.3.

Shall i open the 1.9g and extract the Bootdisc.pal.iso to a new folder on the desktop. Then open the config 1.3 and extract the filechop.exe and fixsize.cmd to the folder where i have just extracted the Bootdisc.pal.iso.

Is that what you mean?
I am new to this sorryy if i am sounding stupid.

This is so doing my head in, I just want it to work.

1) extract your region iso from the 1.9g hotfix file.
2) burn it to a dvdr via imgburn (or other)
3) Load the disc in your wii (it should appear as a gamecube logo)
4) follow the on screen instructions
5) the first flash will be a test flash, if successful, it will ready for the final flash
6) if your flashing is successful the wii reboot AUTOMATICALLY
7) Run Mario, and it will ask to do an update when you click on the game channel
8) Let it do the update
9) The Wii will reset again automatically
10) play the game

Note: YOu don't NEED Filechop, most burn the extract image from the 1.9g fix straight, rather than using Filechop. Try without firsst, then with if without doesn't work

I have done that what you are saying and its not showing up as a gamecube logo. I am not getting passed your number 3. I had no problem doing the 1.9b I done as you are saying. I dont know what to do with that file chop. Do you think i need to try that now.

I don't know why it's doing that, it should be MODE1/2048. Why it's loading as anything different I don't know. Click yes, let it burn and then try the disc. Does ti work?
