I saw that art on Kotaku (minus the border and title), I was wondering how long it would be before someone posted it here.

It's beautiful art, but I don't think it's boxart material. Just look at the title, it covers up half the bosses.

Great mock-up though, despite the flaws of the official art's placement (which is their fault, not yours).

Wow, this one looks much better than the original boxart. Very nice. The bosses look menacing, and Mario looks bad-ass.

Now that is some sweet box art. It looks wonderful, Opium. If I was pirating games, I'd use it for sure, but unfortunately Nintendo made the damn D2C console.

/edit: the cutout SMG logo would be nice too, so people can stick it on other things while it blends in

A .png with alpha transparency would be cool.

As it stands, that is as high res as it will go, as the official wallpaper is only 1920x1200 therefore the height will always be 1200, any higher and it'll distort.
