Gaming Mario and Luigi partners in time

Hi I am replaying all the mario and Luigi games, I have a hacked 3ds xl, I put games on my sd card. I remember when I checked last partners in time froze at a certain spot, does it still? Or was it fixed?

I have finished the game long time ago, but had the original cartridge.

Now I have also a non-legit version of the game installed in my o3DS with CFW, but didn't play that much yet. It can be one of the below options:

a) it was fixed
b) it's a dump issue from the *.cia file you've used
c) I've probably didn't reach the freezing part. Where is it supposed to get frozen?​
