IMO, doing the Story summary translation should be done before the actual dialogue, since the summary can clarify almost everything and it should consume less time than every dialogue in the game.
I am talking about the summary you see when you go to the menu and go to Story tab.

Translating the quest log should be on the list of high priority.
The game is great even without the story translated but what is maplestory without the story?! LOL
Anyways, props to the team and here's hoping for the completion of the project.

That's probably because the patch isn't finished yet.

The team is either hard at translating the entire story or it's in a limbo... only time will tell

how do i patch the rom?

I opened xdeltaUI mod, selected the rom and patch.
What exactly do i select for output file? I cant just select a folder and click ok, i have to choose a file? i tried typing some gibberish but it gives me a gibberish 0kb file after i clicked "Apply"

So, any ideas?

You copy the clean ROM, paste it somewhere like the desktop, then choose it as your output file.

im starting to get pissed at this i cant patch it its not clear i dont understand it i click on the .exe then put the the patch the nthe rom and the nthe output and some stupid thign comes out and it makes my files into 0 bytes

You have to unrar the file twice because the reason you are getting that 0 bytes is its taking the info form the rom and adding it back to the same rom and making it 0 bytes which i know is confusing but you need two of teh same rom files one to receive info and one to take info from

i did that one is in and one is on my desktop btw my rom says 109 m is it clean or patched? because some dialog is in english in the game except the characters conversations idk what they say lol
