i heard there making a maplestory DS, and i'm wondering when the english rom is coming out im not sure if the japenese is even out yet

Korean game is already out in korea (april 15th 2010) but the english game will take a while, there is no word of it yet.

Who knows; for instance, Sakura Wars 5 came out in Japan in 2005, and North America didn't get it until a few weeks ago.

Actually, there is news. Nexon Korea announced back in February 2010 that they are releasing MapleStory DS alongside the DSi launch with a special painted DSi.. The game is in fact out in korea right now also..

I'm pretty sure xdarkx meant that there's no news of this game coming out in North America.
