I'm looking for a way to make it possible to change which screen is in use by NDS ROMS on the fly. I've found people talking about using twilightmenu++ but besides 'macro-mode' I've not seen a way to change which screen the game displays on. I've tried an app I've found on reddit called NitroSwapper, but this option only leaves me with broken ROMS. Please help me find a solution to my single screened problem.
Using a Ace3DSx on a DSLite using Wood Kernel with twilightmenu++ as a game browser.
Appreciate you guys!

There should be an option somewhere in TWLM++'s L+down+select menu to change the main screen between default, top and bottom. Do you have access to a regular dual-screened DS to work out where it is, so you can then toggle it even when the menu is shown on the absent screen?

You might also be able to swap screens with L+R+up+X.

Sadly not in the position to check with a regular DS. My TWLM's settings open through the 'Select' button, are there separate settings that I'm not aware of that would open L+down+select? Also I don't think the swapping screen button works at this point, or at least when I tested it, would you have a page where you read that to be the case? Maybe there's a setting I need to change somewhere. Thank you for the reply!

Holy Im dumb, that L+R+UP+X is a url. Whoops! Thanks again
Would you know if there's some troubleshooting I can do when L+R+UP+X doesn't swap screen? The in-game setting does work though (L+Down+Select)!

Some games are very insistent about which screen they want to be the main screen e.g. the inventory and treasure-fishing screens in Phantom Hourglass. If you try swapping the screens, you get alternate frames of each screen as nds-bootstrap fights the game for control. In cases like that, there might be a cheat code to swap the screens in that one game. Otherwise, no idea.

L+R+Up+X no longer works in order to avoid writing the screen swap setting each time the swap occurs.

As far as I know, Twlmenu has a special setting to set which screen will be displayed in macro mode. But some people also do hardware mods to swap screens.
Do you know if the hardware can be modified on a dsi xl to exchange screens? I have already done it on an nds lite and it worked but I also have an ndsi xl and I would like to know if it is possible
