Hacking Making wii Iso from disc using pc

I have an LG-DVD rom that can see the wii discs in my computer but when I try to make an iso using img burn I get some nasty error messages. I am using a drivekey for my wii mod and would like to make backups of games I have already bought. Need to protect my gaming from my 2 year old!!!!!! Can I make a wii iso using just my pc (if so how?) or do I have to get into the backup loaders and a bunch of other stuff that scares the ^$%#^#n out of me?

It has to be one of the following LG drives. No other known drives will work.
LG-8164b
LG-8163b
LG-8162b
LG-8161b
(can also end in BK for black. B is beige)

You also have to use RAWDUMP to create the image.

And of course you still need a modchip or a softmodded Wii to be able to play the backups on. You cannot use backups on an unmodded Wii

dude just dump it with SuperDump on the Wii to a USB drive

well easier in my opinion. or install it to a USBLoader

yea use a usb loader. its easier and quicker.

It is also MUCH faster ripping using a USB backup loader than through the PC

use RawDump on PC or SuperDump on Wii.

never use usb-loader... it's not a 1:1 backup.

Yeah or if you don't wanna pay for it, use the DVD Dumper with Network connection. Its slow as hell (try a few days many hours to complete) but it gets the job done. And I think its a 1:1 dumper.
