When i only have a game folder. I'm using dios mios 2.6 not the lite version. Can someone please help me solve this? Here's a screenshot.

it looks like your HDD's FAT32 partition is corrupted.
I don't know if it can be fixed without formating.
It can affect only some files or folders, you can backup the non corrupted data before formating.

it could have happened if the drive shutdown while data were still written to it.
Though, DM doesn't write to the drive (unless you used NMM for the savegame).

it still shows these strange files and folders even after a format?
a format should delete everything.
You see this only in the loader or on your computer too? (it should be on both if the partition is corrupted)

I guess it's because it's reading the data stored in the setting files, and it memorized the path you had when the partition was bad.
Click on the path to browse the USB and select the correct path (/games/)

If you still have these when browsing the USB, then I don't know what's wrong.
Which version of USBLoaderGX are you using? which cIOS?
try WiiXplorer, or another loader to see if they read the paths correctly or garbadged too.

it depends where you are, which menu.

if you see garbage in the menu were you see all the user's path, click on the one you want to change to see a the USB content.
If only the first menu had garbage it's because it was stored in the setting file.

If, on the contrary, you see garbage when browsing the USB content, then I don't know what's wrong.
It's not normal that the Wii see something but the computer see another thing.
That's why I suggested to try with another homebrew to check if it's only a problem in USBLoaderGX or in all homebrew on Wii.

What OS are you using on your PC? Windows? English? Did you allow explorer to view hidden files?

Run Chkdsk on the drive and allow it to fix error automatically

If that doesn't help, backup your drive (useful data only), delete all partitions and re-create a Primary, Active partition then format it to Fat32, 32K cluster. Use Easeus Partition Master which is easier than Windows' standard utilities.
Copy the data (only those you really need) back to the drive and try it on your Wii again.

If that still fails, may be your drive requires more power than the Wii can supply or it is dying

btw, what drive are you using and how old is it?
