Gaming Madden Wii

I think it looks cool, new stuff like the play calling is way cool.

But what do you think. i may buy this one.

I bought the 07 Version and rented the 08 version.
It's really sad, I never took the time to play it more often.
Good controlls and a lot of fun (I play football in RL too)
I'd love to play it more often with multiple player....but too litle time :-S

Have been playing 08 for the past few days.

Am English, so have only a passing familiarity with the game in real life. I know the basic rules etc but wouldn't be completely aufait.

First played Madden on the Xbox 360 and loved it. There's something that gives you a pleasure tingle when you complete a decent pass.

It was a bit too simplified on the DS, but I passed some time on it.

I've only had my Wii for a fortnight, so it could still be just the novelty, but the extra hand motions etc involved I find captivate me greatly.

I couldn't sit down and play a season - it would bore the shite out of me. It's a great game for killing 20 mins before going out or whatever, though.

Would I buy it ? I might, but I'd wait for 09 to come out then get 08 cheap 2nd hand.

'08 wasn't nearly as good as I'd hoped. In many ways inferior to '07.

I think 09 will be one of tehr better ones, but where do they go after this one, how many more maddens do we need, do we really need one every year.

Madden 09 looks really good, with it's "arcade 5v5" and the "call your shots" modes specific to wii look really good. I'm really looking forward to this. I did get to play Madden 07, but skipped Madden 08 (didn't have a wii durring it's release, long story).
