Gaming Mac file delete problem

Help when I delete something from my USB on my mac the capacity won't change.
I just deleted Vmware with 30GB Windows so Maybe the capacity didn't change....
Please help me if the capacity didn't change I maybe have to Format my Mac

I want to use bootcamp so I can play some games
but my mac won't partion my Hard drive it says that some files can't be moved and
I have to copy my files and format the drive :S but I can't do that. What can I do else??

Sight, ···---···, anyway, if some files can't be moved either boot from DVD or use another mac and connect yours via firewire as a external storage device (assuming yours has that option) or the disc itself to another mac. Then you can defragment (no standard tool available I think on mac) your disc and possibly also format it already via the other mac. Had to do that once for the exact same problem you're having.

Aren't you glad you have a mac now (rather then a hackintosh which also runs Linux and Windows ^^)

P.S. Although this is being annoying, the capacity of your drive can't change after just removing a file. What DOES change is the available writeable space (the file itself, depending on the file system doesn't even get removed only stated as deleted/free space).
