japhle, try turning it off while only the system files are on the microSD.

gangsterboi, m3sakura already sort of has a favourites list.
you can put your 5 favourites in the "launch" folder for easy access(i use it for emulators and GBa exploader)
they will then appear on the same window as the 5 last used, in a different tab.

Thanks, that's worked very well.
EDIT: OH no! Now i NEED TO reformat it! All I wanted to do was play Games using a fast GUI!!!!

for me the benefit of having a triple loader is to have access to the media player of the original m3 player...it is the best ebook reader out there. you could read

ebooks and listen to an mp3 at the same time. you could also read it sideways or ninja gaiden ds orientation that sakura can't do. a kind of step back. but yeah i

agree on the itouch ds. the firmware is the weakest amongst the 3 when you can have a quick launch list on sakura (pressing select). maybe a dual boot would be

fine. but hell the opportunity to boot 3 is always better than 2. so maybe just leave out one of the folders of the firmware you don't like.

While the Sakura loader is a big step-up from the original loader, I have to say that AKBBS is still the superior loader at this time (which will soon be available to ak2 users).

I love sakura with all my body, including the middle of my pants. but what is KILIING KILLING KILLING me is the homebrew problems. My 2 fave home brews are the phidias paint program and DS notes.
If ANY ONE at all can get these to load using sakura without having to boot into the old firmwear id love to know.
untill then triple loader minus itouch cuz i threw it out is what works for me.

Didn't the Sakura FAQ mention something about a fix for troublesome homebrew? Did that not work for you?

But if it really cannot work, then I guess booting M3 Real will always be a solution.

thats what i thought, it was a fixed startnds.ext

worked for me

there's flashcardOS, an R4firmware remake for other flashcards which you can use.
it runs as a homebrew, and launches most homebrews that m3sakura can't launch.

The SP1 patch (the fixed startnds.ext file) is for ROM compatability, not homebrew (as far as I know).

Thanks dice, that's the one I meant. The FAQ said that you can use it for troublesome homebrew, so that should work I'd guess (without testing).

There was a problem with the initial translation that caused all homebrew to fail even moonshell would throw 2 white screens.

after putting that startnds.ext file over my card all my homebrew started working again (MiniMacDS and DSmasterplus and moonshell)

as for the 2 in question i dont have them nor have i used them

I appreciate the suggestion about flash cart os. but for some reason phidias paint runs extreamly slow. the brush stokes actually lag. and I noticed that tripple booting the m3 real firmware when I launch phidias paint actually lags as well but only ever so slightly. really wierd. Or maybe im just being paranoid at this point. Either way I would still prefer not to have to boot into another os. Can any one else try these 2 :DSnotes and Phidias and see if you can get sakura to boot? even if you cant id like to hear the results.
very much appreciated

Has anyone got download play working with sakura? Mario kart ds hangs at downloading... I've enabled download play in the menu.

you sure you enabled it?
i just tested.

without dl play mode it freezes on the white screen with nintendo logo for the DS that's downloading.
but with dl play mode on i got to the racetype select screen, didn't try any further.

Yeah now it seems to work somehow. The loading screen was up for minutes but when I pressed the a button it went to the game selection screen. weird.

DSision and DSorganize are better than Flashcart OS for launching homebrew.
DSOrganize doesn't run on Sakura.. Loading the iTouch firmware is one's best bet in my opinion. Just copy everything to your root and hold Y on Sakura boot.
iTouch English 1.8x

id rather triple load m3 real. > itouch.
so i guess thats my answer then? no one can get phidias or ds notes to work huh?
big time bumber.

What do I need to do to get dsorganize to dldi patch homebrew? I tried dldi patching it, but it didn't work. What is the dldi file for m3 real?

Actually, iTouch > M3 Real Original.

Took me a while to find Phidias, but I have it now fully working without a glitch. DSNotes also works without a hitch.

iTouch loads all homebrew flawlessly.

But you'd rather do it your way, right?
