Hacking m3sakura is almost here!

Holy crap, I never heard of M3 Sakura before and I find this thread and 76 pages?!!

What is so hyped about this?

A lot of the earlier part of this thread was about rumours, speculation, and beta testing before the actual release. Then a few pages were about how annoyed people were that Sakura was region locked to japan. After that a lot is about the english hack, discussing options, fixes, translations, skins, etc.

Generally, Sakura answers many prayers that the M3 Real would receive a fixed firmware with a GUI that runs at a descent speed with proper responsiveness. Although the official english release is still due, the hacked version has shown that Sakura has done much more than speed up the GUI and add pretty pink colours. That's what's got everybody (on the M3 Scene) so hyped about Sakura.

Some stuff remains to be fixed with Sakura, but it's a huge improvement over old firmware, and all firmwares on the scene in general..

Ok, I'm going to make my Vista skin a little nicer looking.

So here are some ideas tell me what you think is the best;
this is the top file loader.
this is the bottom file loader.

The images don't match up because i have taken 96pixels out of the middle of them.

The english version will probably come out either a) when they get one working, or b) when they find a way to fix whatever problems there are, such as soft-reset to get out of the cheat menus, or c) when they find a way to update it to make it even better than it already is.

Since it seems to be taking some time, I'm guessing none of the above are ready quite yet. Be patient, and use the triple loader until they're ready to release.

Well, our "hack" is fully working, and I don't see any reason of not using it until official english gets
released..
Some problems remain to be fixed, translation needs to be made....there is lots of work on firmware updating..
Official release at the firs, probably won't bring anything new than current hacked release..

Just a tip: don't use gradient-like wallpapers, the DS screen can't display them properly, so they look horrible.

Does anyone know if i can move buttons around, if you get what i mean. For example instead of having the ok button here:

No, I actually I don't believe you can move buttons...or if it's possible, I haven't figured it out yet...
