i think they'd see this more as a pre-release so they get more time to translate and bugfix the EU/US version.

Yep, and it will bring more attention to certain bugs we find etc. I think the g6team guy had something else in mind... he edited his post straight after

Okay, I've made a skin now.
But when I use makeskin_default.dat, it gives me an error that says "?????????????" cause its in japanese I guess.
So, my skin is screwed. Any way to fix it?

jap i know this error. you have to copy the bmp files in a very strange way. you have to open the original files with ms paint and copy in the contet, for example from photoshop. after saving the file it will work. png's also work when they are from photoshop.
Photoshop everytime saves the bmp's to a totally new file and these new files somehow seem to differ from the original ones, also when they are made with 24 bit.
But paint just copys over the original file and these will work.

Okay, so I just have to open all the BMP's with MS paint, save it, and it should work?

Uhm, where do I report for bugs?

M3Sakura FAQs: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=862...p;#entry1179026 - Hacked version has problems with some homebrew.

@ gangsterboi, Ironically I never saw g6team's original post, only the surprising ones after him.

It WAS Surprising lol.

G6team said something like:
"Hello,
Nice work on sakura.
Hereby I would like to ask permission to everyone who worked on it,
to host in on our official site (m3adapter.com).
Could you PM me with your answer?"

Something like that, so not exactly.

I don't know if it's because I was so tired but when I saw the facepalm picture right after the G6 comment it made me laugh so hard... that facepalm thing is so funny.... did you guys see that promo video for guitar hero on tour for DS... anyway it is facepalm worthy..!!! :-)

a bit more on topic, from what I understand, the G6 team wanted to host the file but then retracted and only said "thank you for your interest in the upcoming sakura" ... really what can take so long, we are a group of disorganized folks and were able to hack the firmware and translate it before them... kudos to you all that made it possible!

I hope the M3/G6 team can sense the huge interest in the firmware and please us with an official release very soon

I noticed on the other release some images were distorted, I have updated the bundle release now anyways. (few image/skin updates)

All that's left is the translation of the cheat menu.

Is your release the Most Translated/Completed Version out

too many versions

I get a weird error saying,
'Entry clusters: 1, Actual clusters:0.
A size that the directory entry shows and an actual size of the file are different.'

Logbuf wasn't much help either:P

Was it fake? is that account genuine? was it a bad joke?...or real? :-)

nice recognition for those who worked on it but very surprising coming from them....

ok so im usuing the 1.11x m3 sakura and all my old games work great but any game that i put ont here that doesnt already have a save wont load it sais "file format system error" or somthing like that. please help

chaotic, got my fixed messages.932 in it?
otherwise some homebrews mess up.

ring, that message was from the real G6team, just check their previous posts.

sp33der, means you need to format your microSD.
you got a bit of corrupted data on it.
to be precise, every storage device has a "filelist" and "boxes" of data.
in your case, theres a file in the filelist that shows to have 1 of those "boxes" of data, however that box doesn't exist.(those "boxes" are called clusters)
you can't manually edit these "boxes" or the "filelist"

Any news on official release

thanks chaotic_geo for Updated Release. lol i am updating mt MicroSD card every 5 Mins it feels like...lol

if Densetsu3000 is any bit skilled with a hex editor he can probably get the last 2 screens done too(both the .nds and .gba settings screen) soon.
EDIT: yes sp33der, that should fix it.
best is to make a backup of your files first, and use a fresh system folder(like the one chaotic_ego links to, which is confirmed to be good.)
