Lots of anger, and frustration was raised on this firmware..All this stuff actually kills the excitement and surprise about release and new stuff we've been getting for free..

I like the fact that some people are working on hacking the firmware, so we can get to try it sooner than expected, I support that, and always will..English skin is waiting to be uploaded by NeoGunKuruma, and I would like to try Sakura as fast as I can, I don't mind waiting (because I can't do anything more than I've already did), but if I could get it sooner than expected, I would like that..

People who don't do anything about it, but only whine, STOP IT..If you can't do anything productive, better don't do anything, but wait..

For the person who is trying to hack the firmware and cant get it to run roms, the language ID is either 932 or 933, depending on languagesetup.exe I dont know if thats what your looking for but that is what is in \languages and in language.set

Maybe something to keep checking from time to time?
Kinda lame to release it for jap only, but then again i can wait. New firmware wont make that big a difference. Itll still play backup nds games exactly like the original firmware.

that is not the language id i am talking about. if you take the m3 real card and send a command 0xCD to it using the disassembly i posted, it will give you a byte. this byte is used by m3 sakura to do a language check. i got it booting by patching one area the language is checked. However, the language is checked in multiple areas, which may be where the problem is. it may be better to patch that code that i posted to return a constant value indicating it is japanese. this language id is not 932, it depends on which m3 region you have

someone with a japanese m3 real please try this program and report the results
