As Toni said, you don't have to be mad about anything in Sakura that involves translating. All efforts towards reversing the region block and making Sakura available for the benefit of all westerners is greatly appreciated, especially by those who are unable to do it for themselves (such as me).

Every effort made in this project has only found positive reactions, although some ideas about taking Sakura to other flashcarts have also met the appropriate criticism. In any case, everybody should be aware that this project is for the benefit of M3 Real users everywhere!

This project was greatly accepted in any way!! From everybody, believe me when I say that M3 Team didn't have nothing against this..

if you are taking about your code to let sakura sp1 work for the u/eu m3real, no one is saying the hack translated sakura is harmful... at one point the m3 team wanted to use it (probably as a beta release until they finish with there version)

What the noobies are bitching about is that you only provide the code for sp1 to work instead of SPOON FEEDING THEM and upload the new *.ext files

Many thanks to Cory1492 for checking the patch if working like a charm or not. I know your name very well, and I respect you, as well as I should respect Moonlight who designed "M3 Sakura", so I don't want to provide the patched files, because I believe that he doesn't want it to be hacked...

The patches I provided is just a information, so the usage is up to you, however, I don't hate someone who uploads the patched files with the information

we respect your decision not to post the *.ext files and you clearly don't mind if some else does but since no one else has the crack head noobs are bitching just ignore them.

K, I'm still reading through this now giant thread (My last post on on page 9 I think) ... Sakura only works on US M3Real's with a hack? AND it works on iTouch?

M3 Sakura is hacked to work with english M3 Real, yes, however, it's done very good, and translation of firmware is complete (only game loader remains untranslated)..
official translation won't change many things, so you should really use it if you want..

It does NOT work with iTouchDS!! nori2nori said he managed to hack it, so it worked on his iTouchDS, but hack was never released, and probably won't ever be (at least not from nori2nori)..
So, at the time, noone else can run Sakura on itouchDS..

He's a guy with ethics, and his principals are different than most of people over here (and I deeply respect him for this)..
Ha said he can do it, but won't release information or hack because of the nature of the hack and the fact it would be harmful for some people..
And he proved his skills with SP1 hack for Sakura!!

About that G6 hack matter..He should tell if it's even possible due to Skuras need for external memory and FAT sorting..

M3 Team did stated that they like our translation, but there will be official english release!
The comment was removed by g6team, because of the way crowd reacted..
I don't thing they are lazy, and you all must be aware that all those flash cart makers actually work on the edge of the law, and every wrong move can mean lawful charges, and stuff like that..
I think that every team that back up their product, and updates often, isn't lazy and work hard to improve their cart..
And some people constantly bitch and whine on all kind of stuff related with carts, telling that they actually paid for that and they MUST get it.....

This pretty much captured what happened, but I was there to when they posted the original message. It was along the lines of "We would like to congratulate you on your efforts. We also wanted to ask if we could use your hacked version of M3 Sakura as a beta. Credit will be given...send us a PM."

Then followed surprised faces...followed by angry comments...
Then after a day the G6 guys couldn't take the abuse and changed their message.

@halomasta: I've never seen original post, but I don know what was the point of the post..I really disagree with everyone that verbally attacked g6team on the basis of their question/request, as I can see what was the point of all that..
And it would be great if our translation would be even more used, and accepted by the whole world!!

I've got Sakura running perfectly on my iTouchDS. Regardless of the morality, I can't say I'm not pleased. It works a dream better than the official firmware. And it IS an M3 product...
