Warning: I got a "Save data file Format error!" when loading games that has existing .SAV file (.SAV files created with Sakura) from the Main Menu (it'll create a new sav file regardlessly), and your old save file will become useless (if this happens, use Sakura's save restore function to restore your previous save) backup your saves before install this to your microsd
The Main Menu's game engine is based on the Sav File Corruption version of an older Sakura 1.45, do not boot existing games from the Main Menu if you don;t want to corrupt your old Sav file.

Hopefully this'll make more sense when you actually are using it.

How come it uses M3Sakura 1.44? My Assassin's Creed 2 rom has no icon. Glory of Heracles doesn't boots.
    I'll stick with M3Sak 1.45 4th for now.

Yeah I think I should change the name sometime, it's more of a quad-boot. I am going to send in a request to change the title of the post

Yeah, remember when the M3i Zero was coming out it came out like months after its announced release date. And so did its firmware updater for it to work on 1.4. And I bet there where many more times than that.

I posted this, the very Minute they posted it on their china website right after posting the Sakura 1.45 5th edition news, guess they changed the url later or something [IMG]
    url fixed..

some of the features that I like so far:
    1. able to display Internal Game Name
    2. able to display long cheat descriptions
    3. able to quick boot 2 games from the Main menu with Internal name displayed (a big A+)

other features that needs more work:
    1. pushing X on a game that's on the most recent 5 games playlist or from the Main Boot Menu will not take you to the Game Setup menu for some games (ex. Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3)
    2. pushing X on any of the big empty box might lost control of everything
    3. only able to push Select on the top Big Box to display the most recent 5 games played, but not on the Bottom Big Box (only able to display 1 game)
    4. Light setting is kinda messed up, if you change your light setting to Level 1, the next time you boot up the menu, it'll save as Level 2, if set to lv3, it'll save as lv4, if set as lv4, it'll save as lv1
    5. not able to change different cheat files on some games, for example: if the default cheat file is cheat_ENG.db, on some games it can't change the cheat file to cheat.db
    6. cheat filename on the Top Screen doesn't support long file names

    Major bug:
    1. if a game already has a SAV file prior to using the new boot menu , running that game from the Main Menu will corrupt the SAV file, (check first post on how to restore the old SAV)

There were many other times, long before the M3i Zero was released. But congrats to the M3 team for being on schedule for once!

I have to add one thing, I am not sure how many people still care about GBA games, but you can't load GBA games directly from this new menu nor can you run GBA Explore from this menu.
But on the other hand you still have Sakura and Touchpad (iTouchDS if you are using the Quad-Boot) to run the GBA games and GBA explore off of. Just wanted to share that with everyone ^-^

From what I can tell this doesn't have auto dldi integrated yet. I tried a couple homebrews neither worked. My first was dskiosk which gave a black screen, and my second was still alive ds which told me I needed to dldi patch it.

Hopefully this is just because it's in beta.

    EDIT:

I have had the save problem dsrules mentioned a couple times, it seems to happen randomly. Some games have their saves replaced, some don't.

more features need to be fix:

    1. not able to change different cheat files on some games, for example: if the default cheat file is cheat_ENG.db, on some games it can't change the cheat file to cheat.db

    2. cheat file name on the Top Screen doesn't support long file names

@DeltaBurnt, do you remember which games you ran that the Sav files didn't get replaced? I want to try it out. Out of all the games in my Microsd that already has an existing Sav file created with Sakura will corrupt if run from the Main menu. If the Sav is created from the Main Menu then it'll load fine on both.

So in order to play games on the new loader, you need to delete the .sav file?
