Are you stupid or what? It's just text files made in Notepad. geez
It's perfectly possible to make a virus in Notepad. geez

Err, what? TXT files aren't executables.
But that doesn't mean you can't make them in notepad
smileipb2.png

How? Notepad is simply a text editor. You could use it to write the source code of a virus, but you'd need a compiler to compile it.

Well, like Crimzon already said.. There is no need to compile anything!

But mistar serious, I'm sorry I have probably insulted you saying you could make a virus in notepad. I guess that's a joke you can't make nowadays without people getting all serious..

I'd hardly call a .bat file a virus.

Who thinks M3 will look into the firmware updates of Edge and CycloDS? Cause i reckon this will hold many answers because both these cards were previously not working. but now someone has played for 2 hours straight and had no freeze on either of them.

~This could be the answer to many problems.... M3 need to look into what they did.

Please people, stop paying attention to atenzor, his words are nothing but empty lies and his past actions on most other emulation communities, an mp3 community and gamedev.net attest to it.

Not only does he lie, he also goes to the trouble of generating various accounts, and using proxies to +1 the progress of a patch or faked emulator.

http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/to...topic_id=541943
http://forums.ngemu.com/emulation-news-sub...-8-1-beta1.html
http://forum.gbadev.org/viewtopic.php?p=170899

Now If anyone is stupid enough to believe his bullcrap about removing the AP instead of the teams over at CycloDS and M3 about how it is too deep routed to be removed in a traditional sense then by all means download the .exe he brings out possibly.

If you value your PC/DS enough and you are actually sane, I suggest you ignore this person and/or report his ass for trolling and scamming like usual.

Your choice.

I'd hardly call a .bat file a virus.

I would.

@echo off
start "" "C:\(path)\yourpowerpointsname.ppt"
start "" "C:\(path)\yourbatchfilename.bat"

This command attaches .bat to a powerpoint as an example.

But wouldn't that simply make the .bat file a code injector, or whatever they are called? From my limited experience a .bat file isn't anything more than a glorified shortcut, you basically add a series of commands to the file and the OS carries them out according to specification, is that enough to classify it as a standalone program or not? u.u

Huh? And that's a virus how?

That command needs to be run as a .bat. I don't see the point of it. All it does is run a file along with another .bat.

i love it how mods delete things that are only slightly relevant to the topic, but fail to notice a whole new topic going on for 5 pages. I don't get why they bother deleting shit anyway, it's only replaced with THIS HAS BEEN DELETED BY A MOD which wastes just as much space and our time reading it anyway! geeeeee
