Hacking M3 Simply Graphics freezing

Hey so I have a m3 simply running the latest firmware and when running my pokémon soul silver or zelda spirit tracks after something happens when the screen fades to black (walking through a door or finishing a battle) the graphics will freeze on the black screen but the music continues to play. If anyone knows how to fix this it would be awesome.

install latest m3 sakura from the M3 Saskura Faq (the stickies at the top)
